I wanted this shot of a guy’s dog in Spain to be a monochrome image, but wanted to keep the dog’s different eye colours obvious. Good old Photoshop.

I recently got back into my old hobby of photography, so I thought I’d share some of the initial results.

At the moment these are just two or three snaps, taken to get a feel for the camera. Proper stuff will follow.

All pictures have been taken using a Nikon D3000. This was taken with a Nikon DX VR lens at f5.6 and 1/25 shutter speed.

Dad. Mine of course, plus a little Photoshop work to create that old school feel.

Flowers. I dunno what they’re called but they’re white with pink bits. This was a 70-300 Tamron lens with at f5 and a shutter speed of 1/640 in macro mode. No additional treatment.

This is Coal, one of my corn snakes.  Again the 70-300 lens, f5.3 at 1/250.
